unrefined flours and sweeteners; fair-trade chocolates and coffee; organic, local produce; non-hydrogenated oils; organic, heart-healthy soy – we believe this is what makes a truly delicious and better-for-you dessert!! as a vegan bakery, we are devoted to not using any animal products in our sweets… and trust us, you won’t miss them either!

Robin Cole is the founder and head baker of Life is Sweet...

with a passion for baking and the drive to start her own business, she took the leap after moving back home to Orange County... Life is Sweet was born in her mom's kitchen in late 2011. Robin has degrees in communication studies and journalism, but finds true joy being in the kitchen making vegan deliciousness (or at a nearby farm sanctuary hugging cows). while Life is Sweet is still very small scale, Robin has big dreams of bringing vegan treats to the masses. Robin resides in orange county with her husband Stephen and furbabies Roscoe and Phoebe.

we do everything small-batch and made to order...

using all natural, organic, local, and sustainable ingredients - no artificial flavors or colors in our kitchen. we also cater to gluten, soy, nut, and other allergies in our baking, because we believe that EVERYONE should enjoy a sweet once in a while. *our kitchen is not a certified gluten-free or nut-free kitchen, so "gluten-friendly" or "nut-free" items are not free from cross-contamination.
